About us
Good Life Dog Rescue is a small charity who care about the welfare of stray dogs in the UK. We are passionate about helping these animals who often face an uncertain future. The rescue was established by a passionate animal lover who for over 8 years has been dedicated to helping stray and abandoned dogs in Yorkshire. The charity flys a flag high for the Staffies and cross Staffies who are often the last to find a rescue place.
Good Life Dog Rescue is self funded. We receive no immediate funding and survive on few donations and fundraising. We pay no wages and have no staff. The founder has a full time job to part fund huge kennelling and veterinary bills.
Good Life Dog Rescue does not own kennels so all the dogs in our care board at kennels in Yorkshire. All our dogs are walked and cared for and all veterinary care is paid for by our charity. Kennels are a temporary place for our dogs and we aim to find them a new start as soon as possible.
By advertising our dogs on our site and other forms of media we work hard to find the right home for each dog so both human and hound are matched and happy.
Rehoming process
Many UK stray kennels, rescues and rehoming centres are full of lovable, active and healthy adoptable dogs just waiting for someone to love them and offer them a home. It is important the right dog is matched with the right person or family.
In order to find the right dog for you we will need to match your lifestyle with the dog. Please view our dogs and contact us by email giving us a few details about yourself and your family. Someone will contact you in order to discuss the dog you are interested in.
All our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Home checks are required and vet references if possible.
