Scooter is a small Staffy boy who has had a very difficult Iife. He has come into our care under terrible circumstances from a local vets as an emergency. He is very loving and friendly and loves his exercise. He has sadly been kept in a crate for many months and is quiet under weight. We are now feeding Scooter extra meals a day on some high protein food. He is very very obsessed with food and we are now using a special bowl to slow him down and to stop him from gulping food. Due to his food focus we won't revoke him with small children. Scooter is very friendly and loves his exercise and outside adventures. An active home will be perfect for him. As many flag flyers for Staffies will know they can live to be 16 years of age. Scooter is a happy dog when out and is very easy going in his kennel. He can often be found snoozing in his bed with no problems. Scooter doesn't particularly get along with other dogs so a home that are responsible is essential  He will ignore other dogs on his walks however care must be taken if in close proximity. This boy has had a tough existence and we would love to find him a experienced Staffy loving home as soon as his vaccines and his neutering is complete.
Scooter is looking for some stability in his life with an adopter who is fit and active. We will not rehome him with young children due to being food focused. Our boy has lived in a crate for months and we know he has been passed around due to various homes over the years. He is extremely loving and friendly, however due to being underweight and lack of food he will snatch food. Our new addition would make a great companion for someone who loves walking as he enjoys his exercise so much. A home where he will have security and some contentment is a must. Scooter is housetrained and loves attention. He doesn't get along with other dogs, however will choose to ignore them whenever possible. He needs an only dog household. Due to him being new into our care more assessments will commence. We always welcome calls and emails regarding our dogs and our rehoming process. Scooter will suit a home where he will not be left for long hours every day. He enjoys company and we feel in a home that can offer extra time, love and some guidance training for socialisation he will come on a treat. Please consider this little boy when looking to adopt.
Please contact us at Good Life with information about yourself and the home you can offer any of our rescue dogs. We have many amazing dogs that have fallen on very sad times and found himself homeless and unwanted at stray kennels and in terrible situations. All of them are deserving of a new start and a special home. Please consider our rescue dogs for adoption today. Many of them struggle terribly with isolation and a kennel environment, We help a huge amount of abandoned Staffies and cross breed Staffies left waiting at the Yorkshire stray kennels and in very difficult situations. We do have other breeds, some of which may not be advertised of yet. We encourage adoption and invite anyone with misconceptions of Staffies to come and meet some very special dogs. We are very active and fly a flag high for the Staffies. Staffords are loving and reliable dogs. They have so much to give and have a huge affinity with people. Please support us and the work we do. We exist entirely on volunteers and welcome phone calls to discuss our dogs and our adoption process.
