BEAUTIFUL LIBBY - . KING CHARLES CAVALIER SPANIEL
Libby is an absolute sweetheart King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. It may be hard for people to believe but she has come into our care from the stray kennels. Libby is three years old and such a sweet dog. She has been amazing with other dogs however is very needy and we feel she has been used to being loved and the centre of attention. Libby is struggling in kennels due to separation from her people. She misses home comforts. Libby is small and she adores company and love. Unfortunately many of the applications we have received have un-castrated male dogs. We cannot place our female dogs in homes with entire males as sadly we do not know whether Libby is spayed yet or not. This will be part of the adoption procedure. Libby has been health checked and will be fully vaccinated and spayed as part of our adoption. She does not have any heart conditions which we know is very common in her breed. Libby loves her walks and ideally needs a home with company and someone that has time to spoil her. She would be happy with another castrated male dog of similar breed and size. We do not want to add lots of pressures onto this sweet dog by placing in very busy households. Please read on to see what sort of home ideally she needs.

WHAT SORT OF HOME DOES LIBBY NEED?
Libby need a home as soon as possible however this must be the right home. She needs lots of time, attention and company. A home used to paying for grooming is essential. Libby would suit an early retired home without a busy household and someone who likes to take their dogs with them wherever they go. We do not want to place Libby with a home with lots of other dogs especially large breeds as we feel she may find this stressful and a worry. Libby is extremely sweet and craves the limelight every day. Kennels are not ideal however a must for our charity who take dogs from local stray kennels. She adores company and needs loads of love shown to her first and foremost. We are working through lots of enquiries and are keeping our options open. Applications are needed and we ensure she finds the commitment she needs from any adopter. All our rescue dogs are veterinary checked and are neutered. CAN YOU OFFER LIBBY THE HOME SHE NEEDS?

We ask people to be aware that we cannot reserve dogs for months at a time. Our charity is small and we have many dogs to care for every day. Our vet bills and kennelling bills are very large. Rehoming is a crucial part of keeping our charity afloat. If you have holidays planned or other commitments please only apply for rescue dogs when your circumstances can provide a home. We would love to hear from any rescue flag flying people as we struggle with a huge amount of unwanted animals. Due to the aftermath of the pandemic stray kennels are full and charities like ours with little help but large running costs are finding it difficult to help such a huge volume of animals. By adopting you will be freeing up a space for another urgent stray dog from a Yorkshire pound. Thank you.

PLEASE COMPLETE AN APPLICATION FORM WITH ESSENTIAL DETAILS ABOUT YOURSELF BY CLICKING ON THE ADOPT ME BUTTON BELOW. PLEASE READ THE DETAILS ABOVE ABOUT THE HOME OUR DOGS NEED BEFORE APPLYING. HOME CHECKS AND VET REFERENCES IF POSSIBLE ARE NEEDED PRIOR ANY ADOPTION OF OUR RESCUE DOGS. THANK YOU. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

We are working hard to accommodate many neglected dogs. Support and kindness towards our voluntary organisation is greatly appreciated.

Please contact us at Good Life with information about yourself and the home you can offer any of our rescue dogs. We have many amazing dogs that have fallen on very sad times and found himself homeless and unwanted at stray kennels and in terrible situations. All of them are deserving of a new start and a special home. We help a huge amount of abandoned Staffies and cross breed bull breeds too left waiting at the Yorkshire stray kennels and in very difficult situations. We encourage adoption and invite anyone with misconceptions of Staffies to come and meet some very special dogs. We are very active and fly a flag high for the Bull breeds especially although we are not a breed specific rescue. Staffords and rescue dogs are loving and reliable dogs. They have so much to give and have a huge affinity with people.
