Suki - needs a forever love
Suki is our longest member of the 'Lonely Hearts Club' at Good Life. We have had many appeals, yet this beautiful youngster remains in our care. Suki came to us after being left in a property with no food, water or company for 5 days. The authorities were aware of the difficult circumstances she had been in and asked us to take care of her at Good Life Dog Rescue.
Suki is a young dog who is a large breed American Bulldog cross Staffy. She has a beautiful nature and adores play times and people company. She needs a home as the lady of the manor and a home used to larger breed dogs.
Suki is super loving, obedient and loyal, and deserves her own happy ever after in 2019.
Super Seniors - seeking retirement homes
We help a huge volume of senior dogs left wanting at local stray kennels. Although in later years ranging from 9 to 11 years old they are by no means doddering dogs. What they are are 'Oldies but Goldies' for sure. Here are just some of our pensioners looking for love in later life. Meet Uncle Albert, Zac and Jax.
All our boys are extremely happy and have been health checked. They ask for very little and love going for walks and having time with their people. Company is at the top of their must have lists. A sofa and much needed open arms and the odd custard cream wouldn't go amiss. However a custard cream is optional but a loving home is essential. Please support. Get in touch about our 'Oldies but Goldies'.
Dedicated to helping stray and abandoned dogs
Good Life Dog Rescue is a small charity in Yorkshire. We are dedicated to helping stray and abandoned dogs. We work tirelessly with limited funds to help dogs in need at local stray kennels. We work closely with the stray kennels to help stray dogs that have served their seven days and take them into our care or transport to other reputable rescues willing to help them find a new home. We are hands on and dedicated.
We always have many dogs in our care waiting for a forever home. All our dogs receive veterinary care, are wormed, fully vaccinated, health checked and neutered. We ensure all our dogs receive all the essential care they need until they find new homes. Some are urgent cases from the stray kennels that have needed veterinary care. Through continuous advertising and special adopters we are able to help the dogs in need to go on and find a happy life.
Good Life Dog Rescues aim is to help the ever increasing population of stray and abandoned dogs in Yorkshire. Many are in kennels through no fault of their own. Finding these dogs a new start and a loving home is essential with some needing urgent help. Our kennelling and veterinary bills are huge. We exist on volunteers and no staff.
As a small rescue support is vitally important to us. With limited help we rely on donations and fundraising events. Any help is appreciated by donators. Please contact us for more details about the work we do and how you can help us. We are always grateful for support however small, which will enable us to help more stray dogs in need.
